We're almost there... (-3 days)
Accomodation: Max suggested Traveller's house, quite cheap, we've asked this morning confirmation, nothing came back yet. well, we'll find a place anyway and just for you to know, we've booked for 8.
Some news from organisers:
Calendar. New calendar is available. After some remarks about the fact that only 6 teams would play 2 games consecutively, and the other 6 benefit for more rest between games, we have made a new calender. In this new one all teams will have 2 consecutive games but with a pause of 15' among them. Equality will be ensured then.
Insurance and accidents. Of course nobody will get hurt, but in case, we have alerted the local ambulance service (Bombeiros 00351 214 584 700) and they know that some geriatrics guys are trying to stretch their limits. Mr. Felipe Ferreira a physiotherapist, will be there during the competition.
Rules. Thank you for the comments, please find enclosed a rev 3. Basically the games will be 30' including change pitch between 1st and 2nd period. And some clarification on the goalkeeper rule (that was rather clumsy).
Balls. The space where will play does not have high fences. The pitches will be separated 15mt between them. The ball is likely to travel far into the trees, and across pitches therefore we will try to get as more balls as we can for each match, but the players not playing are kindly invited to warm up and get the balls that disappears into the woods.
Sun. We arranged to have wind from northwest at 14 kmph, 69% of humidity, 8 UV Index, 0% of rain and 20ºC, but above all Sun (goalkeepers bring your hat).
