5-3 for them

Great game yesterday. We're still in self-testing mode, trying to see how to build an unpenetrable defence and a deadly attack. well, no clue yet :-)

The teams were somehow reflecting the composition expected for Parma (except for Max  & Pippo who played against, in order to test the "unpenetrable defence")

We quickly took the lead  by 3-0 (Paolo aveva i piedi buoni ieri), after which our "deadly attack" slowed down and they started to test our defence. Great work Dave, as always, with Fabio leaving little space for Max (but that was enough for Max anyway). With Thierry in the middle ,  Laurens on the right  and me ahead of him, our defence resisted for a short while, after which they started to score. 1, 2.. they stopped at 5, with Pippo who passed a lot of one-touch balls (true, not like the usual pippo), Mauro,  Christian and Tommy running all across the field and Max doing everything on the  right wing. While at the begining Enzo and Andy left some space for us (actually Enzo gave us a self-goal - that's a good habit Enzo, when you play for them!), towards the end we had difficulties in finding our way to their goal.

in the aftermath of the game, Laurens proposed to film next match, so that we can dedicate a lunchtime seing ourselves how we (don't) move across the field and learn from it - the council agreed.

good  acquisition  with Christian, good lungs, good feet, good vision.

special thought to Antonio, who has a broken leg (fibula/perone), take care.

 x Gary: dove sei?

The question of the day: is it only me having the impression that the OTHERS always run more?

Next match on Monday (between ourselves) @ Fioccardo, 19:00, book yourself here

  1. Enzo, you always play well, and actually yesterday you made a great game, who cares about an own-goal ;-)
